At some point over the summer I somehow osmosed the idea of trying to trigger bistable switching in an indigo memristor device using brainwaves. For example while contemplating strongly bivalent (having both positive and negative associations for me) images/text related to Japanese culture and historic militarism. Perhaps EEG brainwaves would be amplified to drive switching in the memristor, which itself would be incorporated in a circuit that would provide audible feedback. Perhaps this could be integrated into a meditative ritual and the final artwork would be a video with accompanying material artifacts including the memristor audio feedback contraption…
